How Bad Habit Motorsports Came to Be


Every business has a beginning, and ours started in the most personal way possible—in the backyard of owner Jeremy Anderson’s grandpa’s one-bay shop. That small space is where he first discovered his passion for vehicles. Back then, Jeremy was just selling accessories and painting small parts. According to him, those early days taught him not just technical skills but the value of trust, hard work, and building relationships.


As he gained experience, Jeremy started tackling smaller repairs, from water pumps and oil changes to front-end work. It was exciting for him to see customers leave with their vehicles, knowing that he had made a difference. Those formative years laid the foundation for what would become Bad Habit Motorsports.


When his grandpa passed away from cancer, it was a turning point. He had to move out of his shop, and rather than slowing down, he made the leap of selling everything and investing in his own shop in Pelham, GA. From day one, we didn’t say no to anyone who came in for help. If someone needed us, we found a way to make it work. 


Over time, our demand grew, and so did our vision. We expanded into a larger car and truck repair shop my friend owned, which added an extra 12,000 square feet of space that had been sitting unused. That move allowed us to offer more services, work on more vehicles, and provide even better customer care. Today, we’re proud to be a full-service auto repair and aftermarket shop serving Thomasville, Pelham, Cairo, Boston, and surrounding areas.

At Bad Habit Motorsports, we specialize in servicing and repairing gas and diesel vehicles for most domestic, Asian, and European models. From engine and transmission repair and replacements to brakes, suspension, and tire service, we handle it all. Our shop is fully equipped with diagnostic scanners, lifts, welding equipment, and an A/C recovery machine, so no job is too big or too small.


We also carry and install 1000+ of aftermarket parts to help our customers personalize and upgrade their vehicles. The majority of the parts we use come with varying warranty coverage.
